I was lucky enough to get front row seats at three of the four runway shows during Toronto Women’s Fashion week for Fall/Winter collections located at the Waterworks Building in downtown Toronto.
Luis Padilla
The first show was from designer, Luis Padilla. His colour palette consisted of deep grey, purple, green and golden yellows in beautiful mixed wool and silk textures. The collection was very modern and loosely structured in a way that flattered the body.
SHELLI OH
Shelli Oh created her collection in colours of white, navy, black and florals using metallic brocade, cashmere, wool, and chiffon. Lots of off-the-shoulder blouses and dresses and above the knee hemlines.
Rachel Sin
Rachel Sin’s Spring/Summer collection incorporated beautiful dresses and pant suits in fresh pastel blues and pinks with grey and navy blue.
David Dixon
David Dixon created a partial all white series of suits, coats and dresses before transitioning into florals then red and navy blue combinations and transitioning once again into all black.
The shows were filled with rich and pastel colour palettes and was lots of fun. I look forward to the next show!
