London is the capital of original and creative fashion ideas that push the envelope.
I was excited to finally attend my first London Fashion Week Festival for Fall/Winter 2017/2018. The latest trends on the catwalk were florals, bell-bottom pants and jeans, velvet, a mixing of patterns, metallics, jumpsuits, shearing vests and coats, stripes and booties are the footwear of the season in black or burgundy.
Coats:
There was a variety of outwear both casual and dressy and in different lengths. I wish could get one of each.
Pants:
A front row VIP seat allowed me to take close up shots with my iPhone. Floral, metallic and patent leather pants were highlighted this season.
Skirts:
Gold and Silver Metallic skirts, asymmetrical or pleated.
The Jumpsuit:
Jumpsuits in purple, cream and mauve lit up the runway as an alternative to gowns for the evening.
The Pantsuit:
Pantsuits in gold, leopard, floral and shimmery brown gave a new twist to the traditional suit for day or evening.
Gowns:
Gowns made of gold and cream sequins, silk and crushed velvet, hot pink, yellow with purple and green.
Other highlights: Included, gold metallic with black trimmed dresses, floral skirt suits and bell-bottom jeans.
It was a blast being London and seeing the show. London’s trends are always ahead of everywhere else and it was nice to see they haven’t lost their creative edge and British flare.
